Teaching

I am an assistant professor at Clemson University, where I teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in communication. In particular, I teach Communication Theory, a core, required course for all Communication and Sport Communication majors, and Persuasion. I also teach graduate courses in Persuasive Technologies and Health, which examines the theoretical foundations of persuasion and focuses on the effects and mechanisms in which persuasive technologies may influence health.

Prior to Clemson, I have served as an instructor/teaching assistant through several modalities (online, hybrid, and in-person) for several courses in communication, including core courses such as communication theories and empirical methods, as well as specialized courses in persuasion, strategic communication, and computational methods. I also have experience as a course reader for undergraduate courses in public health.
