Bio

Jayveeritz (Jayvee) Bautista, PhD is an environmental health scientist who specializes in inhalation toxicology. He received his PhD in Environmental Health Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. His work focuses on examining the relationship between exposure to metals in e-cigarette vapor and lung toxicity. At UC Irvine, Jayvee was a fellow for the Southern California NIOSH SCERC Targeted Research Training Fellowship program in Occupational Health and a member of the Air Pollution Health Effects Lab directed by Dr. Michael Kleinman and Dr. Andrea De Vizcaya Ruiz.
