Carlina Dirusso

Bio
Dr. Carlina DiRusso is an assistant professor of communication at Clemson University. Her research is primarily quantitative and tests the design of persuasive messages that encourage changes in beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors. She is especially interested in understanding how emotions and defensiveness influence health communication. Dr. DiRusso is a Faculty Scholar in the Clemson University School of Health Research (CUSHR).
